What a journey it’s been. After a difficult couple of months with the first test in December cancelled days before due to examiner illness, then the second test in the new year cancelled on the day because of snow and ice, it would have been easy to lose heart. But Lily stayed positive, kept pushing on and today got the result you so deserved.
Teaching Lily has been an absolute joy. At the start I often heard “Matt I can’t do this, I’ll never be able to drive” pretty much every time a new subject was introduced. Fast forward a bit and the same person was confidently criticising other drivers’ technique and road position. Never a dull moment 😂
Now it’s time to enjoy the freedom. Getting to college without the bus along the A47 through the Thickthorn roadworks, no excuse to be late anymore, getting yourself to work and letting mum have a well deserved lie in. Life just got a lot easier.
A big thank you has to go to mum and dad for all their patience and for giving Lily the opportunity to practise in her own car. It has all led to this brilliant result. Your patience has been admirable and your approach to learning exemplary.
