Lessons designed around you

More than simply learning how to pass a test

We help you develop the judgement, awareness and confidence needed to drive safely and independently after the examiner has handed you your pass certificate.

01

Start where you feel comfortable

Early lessons use suitable local roads so that new skills can be introduced without unnecessary pressure from heavy traffic.

02

Build genuine road experience

As confidence grows, lessons include busier junctions, rural roads, dual carriageways and the situations you will face after passing.

03

Understand your progress

Each lesson has a clear focus, honest feedback and practical next steps, so you always know what is improving and what comes next.

ADHD, autism and dyslexia

Information can be broken into smaller steps, revisited in different ways and supported with routines that reduce overload.

Frequently asked questions

Before you book your first lesson

How long is each driving lesson?

Standard weekly driving lessons are two hours long. This provides enough time to reach suitable practice areas, develop the chosen skill and review your progress without rushing.

How much do driving lessons cost?

A single two-hour lesson costs £85. A ten-hour block costs £800, reducing the rate to £80 per hour.

Which areas do you cover?

Lessons are available across selected parts of Norwich and North Norfolk, including North Walsham, Cromer and surrounding areas. Complete the enquiry form with your postcode so we can confirm coverage.

Do I need to pass my theory test before starting lessons?

No. Starting practical lessons can make theory topics easier to understand because you begin seeing the rules in real situations. However, you must pass the theory test before booking a practical test.

Can you help nervous learners?

Yes. Nervous and anxious learners are a major part of our work. Lessons are kept calm, clearly structured and adapted to your confidence.

Do you offer automatic driving lessons?

Learning Kerb currently provides manual driving lessons only.

Can lessons start or finish at college or work?

Where the location and timetable allow, lessons may start or finish at home, college or work. This should be agreed in advance with your instructor.
